Registration and Enrollment

Before you can enroll in a course, you must first register on the platform by clicking “Register New Account” in the top right corner of the page. Please ensure you enter a valid email address as you will be sent an email to activate your account.

If you had a previous account from the United Nations SDG Helpdesk e-learning platform, you can use the same credentials to login to this platform.

The activation emails are sent from '[email protected]'. If you did not receive an activation email, please check that you entered your email address correctly when you registered your account and please check your spam or junk folder. If you have still not received the activation email, please click here or contact us.

If you would like to enroll in a course, please click on "Courses" > choose the desired course > Click "Enroll". Once enrolled, you will then be taken to a page with the course page. Click “Start" to launch the course. Please note that all the courses are self-paced which means that the modules are recorded and presented in a streaming video format. You can set your own learning pace by pausing the lectures and returning to your studies as your schedule permits.

Taking the Course

As you move through the course, your progress should be sent to the platform from your device. Thus, if you pause part way through the course, you can return right where you left off when you reopen the course page.

There are a few reasons which may cause your progress to not be saved:

  • The web browser you are using or a browser extension is set to block the saving mechanism when you close the course window.
  • Your computer firewall/organization network rule is set to block certain type of network package.
  • Poor internet or network connection including the signal being lost while taking the course.

To fix this problem, please try changing your network connection, web browser and device you are using to access the course. If you still are having difficulties, please contact us for support.

No, there are no fees in taking a course.

Course Completion and Certificates

In order for your status to update to “Complete,” you must complete the course in its entirety. Please make sure you have completed every page of the course including all quizzes.

If the course creator has included a certificate as part of their course, you will receive a certificate after you complete the course.

Once you complete the course, the result will be automatically reflected on the Course Progress Page and you will be prompted obtain your certificate. To receive your certificate please do the following:

  1. Go to "My Learning" located at the top right of the page.
  2. Select the course you would like to get a certificate for.
  3. Click "Get Certificate".
