The course purpose is to support cities in their actions to localize the SDGs through Sustainable Urban Resource Management (SURM) and the objectives are to:

  • Strengthen capacities by supporting understanding of the processes and benefits of collaborative governance, integrated analysis and planning, and evidence-based decision-making;
  • Make guidelines and tools available to mainstream and accelerate adoption of the SDGs into local action in the area of urban resource management; and
  • Provide support for implementing urban resource management projects through step-by-step building blocks on how to co-plan sustainable urban resource management.

Applying Behavioural Science to Policy and the Environment

This self-paced e-learning course is targeted towards policymakers who wish to enhance their understanding of behavioural science applications for policy and the environment. The purpose of this course is to increase the impact of policy interventions on positive outcomes for environmental sustainability. No previous knowledge of behavioural science is needed to take this course. Participants will need to complete all modules and test your knowledge questions in order to receive the certificate of completion.

The overall objectives of this e-learning course are to:

  • Provide policymakers with the introductory knowledge and tools needed to integrate behavioural science applications for the environment;
  • Share insights and best practices from implemented behavioural interventions;
  • Support governance entities to create more impactful policy interventions; and

This CPI simulation tool was developed for policy makers and climate practitioners to examine the opportunity for applying carbon pricing instruments in support of implementation of NDC targets. The overall objectives of this e-learning course are to: - provide policymakers with the understanding how CPIs impact socio-economic factors of development. - examine scenarios and pathways for implementation of NDC targets using CPIs. - examine opportunities to invest revenue in increasing natural climate solution coverage to close the gap to net-zero.

Rail digital transformation in Asia and Pacific region
